Who are Drivechain SF?
A drivechain is the cog-set linking the peddles with the back wheel in a bike. Without the drivechain, a bike only works downhill and without the bike, the drivechain has no purpose. It is the aim of Drivechain to help companies in a similarly interdependent way.
Our main focus within the Salesforce ecosystem is on Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud. Sales Cloud acts much like the drivechain in a bike, it sits at the centre, enabling other elements to work together by concentrating on sales and selling. Revenue Cloud acts much like the gears within the drivechain enabling the system to go to new heights.
Doug Gardner
Founder and Consultant
Doug, a keen cyclist, first worked with Salesforce as a Business Development Executive at the ERP company Brightpearl, now owned by Sage. In this role, he would speak with at least 20 companies a day getting an intimate understanding of how they worked to see if Brightpearl would be a good fit for their whole business. Doug was also heavily involved in mapping out the internal working processes to aid the implementation of Salesforce at Brightpearl. From this point on, Doug’s interest in the way that companies operate and how Salesforce can help them has continuously grown.
Following leaving Brightpearl, Doug worked in multiple industries growing his range of experience before he started working as a Salesforce consultant and concentrated on Salesforce CPQ, the main part of Revenue Cloud. This passionate concentration led to running a multitude of CPQ implementations, industry round tables, and presenting on CPQ at London’s Calling which is the largest Salesforce Community event in Europe. It is this passion and his dream of building a consultancy built on inter-reliance with its customers that has led to the founding of Drivechain SF.
Nikki Skaife
Salesforce Consultant
Nikki was a Salesforce customer for many years during her career in education. She led teams working with at-risk teenagers, part of designing and running a school for those excluded from mainstream education. She found having a CRM configured fully for the organisation’s needs was vital.
With a bit of spare time on her hands (on maternity with her third child!) she thought it would be an interesting time to learn how to configure Salesforce herself and was soon gripped! One thing led to another, and Nikki has been in the ecosystem for five years. Initially, as a consultant, she then joined one of the UK’s largest Salesforce training providers. In this role, she managed the delivery of the various curricula and became an esteemed Trailhead certified instructor.
At Drivechain, Nikki has an enthusiastic commitment to delivering client solutions that significantly enhance the day-to-day experience of staff while concurrently aligning with and advancing the client’s broader strategic goals. Nikki focuses on Service Cloud, automation, training strategies, and project management.
